how long does it take to be chartered accountant?
Hi, i am going to graduate the year after next. I want to be CA. so was just curious how much time does it exactly take to be one... wat kind of course are suppose to be done in order to be one. thanks tushar

You need to join an accounting company as a junior and either by night school or day release from the job take the necessary courses. It will take you about 5 more years to achieve charter status. You cannot get charter status from doing a course. It has to be combined with real work and experience.
