do you have to go to uni to be an accountant?
do you have to go to university to be an accountant.If not how do you come about being an accountant and what qualifications will i need?Also could i have my own private Business as being an accountant as well as another job because i would quite like to be both an ccountant and a teacher?

no you don't have to go to uni, you can do training through many institutes, like the ACCA. some will take you on with no qualifications, and some jobs will do on the job training and may pay for your training

i have recently set up a small business with 3 partners and i just want to know if my accountant has to have my personal bank details when he does the accounts

No you don't, but there should not be any reason why you wouldn't want your Accountant to see your personal bank account details. The only reason to keep your personal banking details away from your Accountant is in order to hide things from that Accountant. Refusing to provide details to an Accountant always hints that you are hiding things and not declaring everything that you should declare. If you want the best possible service from your Accountant then you need to be as open and honest with him as possible.

Becoming a accountant or maths teacher?
Do you need a specific degree to become a maths teacher in the UK? If i was to do a degree in accounting would i be able to become a maths teacher if accounting doesn't work out?
