Answer 1 :
By changing their career.
Answer 2 :
You work there for a while and you see how things are done, then you analyze how you can make things better and more efficient and save the company money.
Answer 3 :
Open you own income tax preparation company or maybe start a property management company.
Answer 4 :
Do you want to show entrepreneurial sprit to your employer, or do you want to go it alone. If you want to go it alone, as a trainee, you probably don't have the experience that you need to make it as an accountancy practitioner. Use what you have learnt and apply it to another business. If its for your employer, then look at what they do, try to identify losses that can be avoided. Or try to highlight losses that they may not be aware of. I workd for one firm when we made different colour widgets. When I actually provided a costing showing how much a colour changed cost the business we changed our production planning and reduced the number of colour changes each day by 50%, and saved several thousand pounds per year. It's all about using your initiative.

Is It Possible To Be A Part Time Accountant, Whilst In A Full Time Career?

Is It Possible To Be A Part Time Accountant, Whilst In A Full Time Career?
Lets say for example that I have a full time job, and on weekends I wanted to work as an accountant, would this be possible. Most accountants are self-employed and they can be as flexible as they want with their hours..... How realistic is this? I am thinking of doing an accountancy course which will allow me to practice accountancy on weekends.

Trust me i have been doing this for 2 years now, i work as a full time accountant and work self employed at weekends, the tax criples you and the hours are manic, also clients wont wait for you to work for them over a weekend, when they want numbers they want numbers! Cant help will course's at weekends... best look on www.bpp.co.uk that who i trained with! All the best, Keith www.spoilt-rotten.co.uk
Answer 2 :
well serious n real accountancy requires a complete education in chartered accountacy...if somebody is willing to hire you on basis of a course and is ok with your condition then you can
Answer 3 :
Depends on how you are going to get the work materials from your clients - most of them will be off weekends so how will you even get clients? - Income taxes are easier to do evenings and weekends - only have to do that a few months a year

Which website do I need to find if a UK Accountant has been struck off?

Which website do I need to find if a UK Accountant has been struck off?
Hi! I am doing some research work and want to know which website to go on to find out if a (UK) Accountant has been struck off for that particular company. I am guessing that there would be a public record stating the same. Also I am looking for a website which tells about a history of a past Company - is there such a thing? I've Googled the Company's name without any success! Any help would be appreciated.

Answer 1 :
try the financial services authority FSA. They should be able to tell you if someone has been struck off.
Answer 2 :
Hi, You probably know about the Institute of Chartered Accountants. http://www.icaew.com/index.cfm/route/158423/icaew_ga/en/Home/Institute_of_Chartered_Accountants_in_England_and_Wales If the accountant was a sole trader or partner in a limited liability partnership practice than it may be difficult to find out id this individual has been struck off. If they were trading as a director of a ltd liability company then companies house would show the status of the company and you could then use this information to ask the ICA to confirm if they have been struck off or not. Equally if you have their name then there will a press cutting as nearly always these cases are reported in either the local or National press. http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/
